CHANGES TO INSPECTIONS EFFECTIVE 04/03/2020
in response to concerns surrounding COVID-19, beginning April 3, 2020, the City of Pelham’s Building Department will only conduct inspections on the following days; Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
The inspections will be performed during the hours of 6:30AM and 12:30PM. Once the inspector arrives at your location for inspection please continue to practice social distancing and stay 6ft from the inspector if you see him on the job site. As always, the inspector will call you at the number provided when setting up the inspection if there are any concerns or deficiencies.
For commercial projects, the Fire Marshall’s office will perform their inspections via facetime or through the app, google duo video chat. After the pandemic the Fire Marshall’s office will perform a physical onsite inspection for commercial properties.

All building plan submittals will be handled in the lobby of the Pelham Water Works building, 3111 Cummings Street. Please make sure you include all required documents.

On May 4, 2015, the Pelham City Council passed Ordinance Number 288-09 allowing licensed Food Trucks to operate in the City of Pelham.
The City of Pelham’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) is required, under the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), to eliminate the discharge of storm water pollutants from the MS4 to the maximum extent practicable.
All zoning requests are first presented to the Planning Commission and the commission makes a recommendation to the Pelham City Council.
