Fireworks

Join us Sunday, July 3rd, 2022, for the City of Pelham’s Annual Fireworks Show at Oak Mountain State Park.

Regular entrance fees apply on July 3rd from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. From 4:00 to 7:00 pm, a discounted rate of $15 per vehicle will be available. Pelham residents will only pay $10 per carload, so carpool and save! The gates to the park will close to the public at 7:00 pm, so please plan accordingly. The fireworks show begins at 9:00 pm.

Flip Side Watersports will provide entertainment from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a show that is always a crowd pleaser. "Some of the top wake boarders in the nation will be there, so it's going to be a great show," said Events Coordinator Anna Jones. In addition, D.J. Blaze will join the party again this year to provide some fun tunes.

If you're planning to attend the show, consider exploring all Oak Mountain has to offer. Some activities to enjoy all day include beach volleyball, the Treetop Nature Trail, the playground and fishing piers. Picnic tables and grills are available in the event area on a first come, first served basis. Annual passes are valid on July 3rd.

No outside alcohol is allowed at the event, but beer will be sold by park staff on the Terrace beginning at 5:00 pm.

MODIFICATIONS

  • The Marina on Terrace DrIVE will be closed ALL DAY in preparation for the show. If you would like to rent a kayak/canoe/SUP, Flip Side Watersports will be open and renting these all day on Beaver Lake.
  • All boat launches on Double Oak Lake will be closed, so if you are interested in bringing your own kayak/canoe/SUP to the park you will need to utilize Lunker Lake or Beaver Lake at the North end of the park. Both of those lakes will be open to private vessels.
