Green Infrastructure Workshop

EPA Region 4, in partnership with Alabama Department of Environmental Management and the Shelby County Development Services, is hosting a 2-day workshop in Pelham, Alabama, March 4, 2019, to discuss:

  • Use of green infrastructure and low impact development controls as an alternative BMP for managing stormwater runoff 
  • Cost effectiveness and benefits derived from using green infrastructure and low impact development

The workshop will include speakers from EPA, State and local agencies discussing practices, technical application and case studies. The workshop is open to MS4s, State representatives, developers and other stormwater practitioners involved in the municipal stormwater program and interested in green infrastructure and low impact development. The workshop is free, but attendees need to register.
