EXPLORE

RURAL REVIVAL is an upcoming event commemorating the origins of Oak Mountain State Park built by the United States Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC).

The CCC was established by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in April 1933. It was a work relief program that gave millions of young men employment on environmental projects during the Great Depression. The CCC planted more than three billion trees and constructed trails and shelters in more than 800 parks nationwide during its nine years of existence.

GROW

City leadership and staff are asked almost daily about new developments. It's to be expected because we're all naturally curious about what’s going on when we see dirt moving.

One of the most asked about developments in the city right now is the location across from the Pelham Public Library. Cahaba Tractor, a family-owned company, is moving from its building on Highway 31 across from Campus 124 to a new facility located at 2843 Pelham Parkway. The new property sits on almost seven acres, a much larger space than the 1.75-acre plot of the existing location. We also have several new restaurants slated to open in the city in the next few months. Read more to see how Pelham is growing.
