Changes to Municipal Court In-Person Proceedings

In-person court proceedings at Pelham Municipal Court from now through April 16^th will be postponed. Please contact the court office at (205) 620-6407 to inquire about your new court date. The magistrate’s office is still open for regular business during normal business hours.
 
The court encourages any payments be made through the mail with a cashier’s check or money order.  Please mail your payments to Pelham Municipal Court, P.O. Box 1419, Pelham, Alabama 35124.  Defendants may also drop money orders or cashier’s checks in the newly placed drop box located in the lobby of the Pelham Police and Court building at 32 Philip Davis Street, Pelham, AL 35124.  The money order or cashier’s check should be made payable to Pelham Municipal Court, must be filled out completely, and display the defendant’s name legibly.  No personal checks will be accepted.  For those defendants who are on a monthly payment plan, a receipt with the next court date will be mailed to the defendant’s address that is on file with the court office.  For defendants who are pleading guilty to traffic tickets, receipts will not be mailed unless requested. 
 
If the Judge previously allowed partial payments on your case, the court will be temporarily accepting phone payments. A 3.5% convenience fee will be added to any debit and credit card payment.  You may call (205) 620-6407 if you wish to make a phone payment.
