Pelham Youth Baseball and Softball have two seasons each year. Registration for the spring season begins in January, with practice starting in February. Regular season play typically runs from March-May, immediately followed by All-Stars. Registration for the fall season begins in April, with practice beginning in August. Regular season play typically runs from September-October. Fall baseball & softball are less competitive learning programs. Games and practices will be played during the week against teams from Alabaster, Calera, Helena, and Montevallo.

Spring Baseball and Softball registration is open through January 18, 2023. Register online or in person at the Pelham Recreation Center.
You don't have to be experienced to be a volunteer coach or official for Pelham Parks & Recreation. If you are interested, please register online.

The City of Pelham conducts annual background checks on all volunteers associated with its recreational programs. These include national and state criminal history checks. Pelham Parks & Recreation coaches are also required to complete the Coach Safely program annually. Individuals that do not consent to the background check are not allowed to volunteer.
